Amy was a hopeful adoptive parent and Caitlin was a social worker guiding families through the adoption process when their paths first crossed many years ago. Each brought a unique perspective and deeply personal experience to that moment—one navigating the journey of adoption firsthand, the other supporting families along the way. Over time, their connection grew into a shared vision. After thoughtful planning, dedication, and a deep commitment to helping others, Hello Baby was born.

The Founders
Amy Twombly
CO-FOUNDER
Amy became passionate about promoting domestic infant adoption after her daughter’s adoption. Several families asked her to navigate them through the adoption process, and the joy she felt from helping these families bring their babies home inspired her to continue guiding others through the complicated and emotional process that is adoption and to begin Hello Baby.
She has since helped countless families successfully bring home their babies, and she believes in helping families wholeheartedly, offering an individual approach to each family as no two journeys are the same.
Amy holds a B.A. in early childhood education from Boston College, and spent many years as a teacher, a program director, and an educational consultant for several early childhood centers.
In addition to her work with Hello Baby, Amy sits on the Practice Committee for the Connecticut Council on Adoption.
Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Derek, her four children Aidan, Grayson, Quinn and Mary Claire, and their rescue dogs Sadie Mae & Lucy.
Caitlin Phillips
CO-FOUNDER
Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been deeply engaged with adoptive parents, birth parents, and adoption agencies for many years. She knows this system inside and out, and her job is to put that knowledge to work for you.
As a professional, she has worn many hats, but most notably, before coming to Hello Baby, she created and built an adoption agency from the ground up which she developed into one of the largest adoption agencies in her state. That endeavor was quite a challenge and gratifying but working directly with adoptive families is where her passion lies.
Caitlin has weathered the heartache of delivering and losing twin baby boys who were born prematurely and she understands how difficult and complex creating a family can be. What brings her the most joy is working side-by-side with families to make their adoption journey a loving, positive experience.
When she is not helping families, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Jason, their daughter Taylor and goofy Pug, Mustard.

Kelly is a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience in domestic adoption, foster care, and international adoption. Her warm, compassionate approach helps families feel comfortable, supported, and understood throughout their adoption journey. Kelly loves building meaningful relationships with her clients and brings a unique perspective from her experience working with expectant parents, adoptive families, and adoptees.

Jessica is an adoptive mom of two through domestic infant adoption. Her personal experiences with infertility, adoption disruptions, and growing her family have given her a deep understanding of the adoption journey. Jessica brings a thoughtful, steady approach to her work, offering practical guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear as she helps families navigate the process.

Alexandra is an adoptive mom of three who experienced the adoption process firsthand, including working with Hello Baby during her second and third adoption. She brings a fresh perspective, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping families navigate their own journeys. Alex loves connecting with clients, sharing what she's learned, and helping families feel informed, encouraged, and supported along the way.

Jenn is a Creative Director and adoption profile designer with over 15 years of experience helping hopeful adoptive families tell their stories. She combines her background in graphic design with a thoughtful, collaborative approach to creating profiles that feel personal and authentic. Her favorite part of the process is getting to know each family and seeing their unique story come to life through design.
