Most adoption profiles are completed within approximately 8–10 weeks from start to finish, depending on how quickly materials are gathered and edits are submitted. Once your materials are fully approved for design, first drafts are delivered within 10–14 business days.

While professional photography is not required, we strongly encourage families to have a dedicated set of photos taken specifically for their adoption profile, even if that simply means asking a friend or family member to help. Fresh, intentional photos can make a significant difference in helping your profile feel cohesive and visually engaging. We can still help. Some families come to Hello Baby with an existing adoption profile and are looking for feedback, revisions, or a more modern redesign. We’ll help assess what’s working well and recommend the best next steps for your family.

Printing is not included in the adoption profile design fee. However, families receive a print-ready Canva file that makes it easy to order printed adoption profiles in any quantity, even just one copy, at a reasonable cost (typically around $20 per book).
